Cynthia Thomas

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Cynthia Thomas began her professional  art career when she sold her first painting to the University of Central Olahoma during a student art exhibition.  After her move to Colorado she continued her art studies by attending numerous classes and workshops taught by many renowned and established artists. She has exhibited both locally and nationally and has won numerous awards and ribbons over the years. Cynthia's work hangs in corporate and private collections in the U.S. and around the world.  Since her move back to the Sooner State, she enjoys painting her vivid watercolors and teaching her watercolor class. Her work is available for sale on this site through *Venmo or Zelle, and locally in Oklahoma City at Art on Paseo Gallery, 2928 Paseo, and Healthy Living Center, OKC at 11501 N Rockwell Avenue.

(photo) In 2005 Cynthia was asked to paint a vivid red high altitude daylily names for former first lady, Betty Ford, and present it personally to Mrs. Ford at a special ceremony in Vail, Colorado.
